What are your hours and availability?
I am available evenings 7 days a week. Morning sessions are an option on weekends. Because I am a natural light photographer, the seasons will most definitely dictate availability.
What do you charge?
In an effort to make personal photography sessions affordable for every income, I choose to charge by the edit ~ not package. It's simple, you & I will shoot for an hour, these images will be loaded in a personal gallery album. You will be the one to choose the images that are edited. Your personal favorites. Those chosen favorites (only) will be fully edited, placed on a thumb drive, then presented to you with 4x6 gallery prints. I do not sell the session or any single image "un-edited".
Edited images: $10.00 each.
Sitting fees:
Individual Portraits up to 6 people: $50.00 per hour
7 people to 15 people: $75 per hour
16 people and up: $100 per hour

Where are you located?
I live in Ogden! I use so many fun venues in my community and I am always up for an adventure! Let me prove it!!
How long will I wait to get my order?
I am right there with everyone else when I am excited to get what I've ordered! Editing is not a one click and you're done process. I average 2 weeks for the delivery of your thumb drive and gallery prints. During the crazy seasons it may take 4-5 weeks. I do not like to see anyone wait that long and I will make sure you're aware of any unusual work loads. All orders are worked on in the order they're sent to me - so remember, if you're needing them super fast, you're ordering quickly is paramount!
What if everyone is blinking?
Oh the joys of family sessions! [ I'm definitely chuckling with you] I always visit before a session to make sure I know what style you're expecting. I love the crazy but if formal is our goal with your session, be at ease - a head swap can save the day! One head swap is gifted to you for your session - after that, I charge $25 per every head swap - every image. They can be very time consuming and my rates do not account for hours of extra touches. Let's be sure to bring any bribery necessary for 100% compliance from all the littles!
When do I pay?
Awesome question! You will owe the sitting fee [and travel fee if applicable] the night of the shoot. They are non-refundable. They are due with each session, regardless of the number of sessions you book with Kerry Horrocks Photography. I would prefer not to be paid in advance! If we run into inclement weather - I am definitely open to re-scheduling at the start, or day of, your session ( yes, even last minute!!). If you choose to proceed with the session with questionable weather, I will not re-shoot because you are unhappy with the results. If you are dis-satisfied with the feel and mood of the images, you are not obligated to order any. I do ask that you communicate your concerns in a constructive and professional manner, via email. You will not need to pay me for your order until I deliver your thumb drive and gallery prints. I need peace of mind that if something were to happen to me that you wouldn't have paid for something you might not get. It's the right thing to do!
What payment options do you accept?
Rumor has it that 2022 will bring big changes for anyone using cash apps. I am not alone in moving to a cash only basis. It is very challenging to make trips to the bank so I will NOT be accepting checks. I will be researching other options as the year comes to a close but please be aware I will not be using Venmo as of January 2022.
